The Mobile County Housing Authority (MCHA) manages, and serves a vibrant community located just outside of Mobile, Alabama (27 miles north of I-65, north end of Mobile, on Highway 45). Head of household must be 19 years of age or older (or an emancipated minor) unless married and applying with a spouse who is 19 years or older. Family documentation is required with application. Including: birth certificate, social security card, income, and picture ID (18 years of age and older).
